A Letter from Ohana

Dear Clients of Ohana,
Our team at Ohana Pet Hospital would like to start by thanking you for supporting us during the pandemic and being understanding during this very difficult time. Some of you have also provided us with treats that were much appreciated by the whole crew. Mahalo for your thoughtfulness!
We know you have experienced longer wait times than usual and frustration getting your pet in for an appointment. This is a worldwide issue that every veterinary hospital is experiencing. Please know we are doing our very best to provide great customer service to you and care for your pet.
We have a couple of same day appointments for all doctors in both locations. We also have an urgent care doctor every day in Ventura. Our availability is limited as our appointments get filled quickly.
We also want to thank you for referring your friends and family to us. Your trust in Ohana means a lot. However, we are currently not accepting new clients in order to better accommodate you when your pet needs us.
Please help us service you better during this time by doing the following:
- Schedule your follow up appointment as soon as possible or on the day of your appointment.
- Do not wait until the last minute to call when you notice something may be going on with your pet.
- Please give us and our clientele the courtesy of calling to cancel your appointment if you are unable to show up. That way, we can give this time to another pet that is in need of our help. Every appointment block is valuable and we need to allow the ability for sick pets to have access to our care on any given day.
- If you are having a hard time getting through on our phones, we also have a text option on our main line (805) 658-7387. It will recognize your phone number to identify you if you have your phone number in our system.
- Please give 24-48 hours for refills. Utilizing VetSource, our online pharmacy, will be more efficient than requests from other outside pharmacies. Please plan ahead due to backorders and shipping delays, we may not have the medication you need right away.
We will continue to do our best to serve you and your pet during this challenging time. As always, we are here to listen if we fall short of your expectations. This has been a tough time for our whole community with the COVID-19 pandemic. We wish you and your families the best in health and wellness.
