Jocelin Vazquez

Veterinary Assistant

Jocelin Vazquez was born in Santa Barbara but her family moved to Oxnard when she was eight years old. She has fond memories of developing her love of animals at an early age. “When I was about three years old, I would drag out our giant encyclopedia every night so that my dad could read to me about all the different animals,” comments Jocelin. “My love and passion for animals just continued to grow from there.”

Today Jocelin is the proud mom to two fur babies. One, Gummy a 13 year old Bichon Frise mix she refers to as, “my grumpy old man!” The other is a sweet little nine year old Maltese mix named Sassy.

With four years experience as a veterinary technician, the last year serving the patients at Ohana Pet Hospital, Jocelin looks forward to continuing her career growth within veterinary medicine.
