Dr. Nicci Quinn
Dr. Nicci Quinn (aka Dr. Nicci) is a founding partner of Ohana Pet Hospital.
Born and raised in Stockton, California, Dr. Nicci earned a degree in biological sciences from the University of California in Santa Barbara before attending the University of California in Davis – where she met Dr. Jill – to pursue veterinary studies. Following graduation in 2002, Dr. Nicci returned to the central coast where she completed a one year rotating small animal internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG). She then began working as a general animal practitioner in a Santa Barbara veterinary clinic and subsequently in Ventura, where she met Dr. Jan and Dr. Kate. While Dr. Nicci works on all small animals, she is a specialist in providing wellness and care for reptiles.
Dr. Nicci is an active board member with the no-kill, Santa Barbara based, Dog Adoption and Welfare Group (DAWG). She is also currently active, with her Ohana partners, in working to make Ventura County a 100% No-Kill community.
In June 2013, Dr. Nicci and her husband, Cody, welcomed their daughter, Lena to the world and were immediately busy introducing her to their two Australian Cattle Dogs, Zephyr and Cowboy and the family cat, Chewy. When she’s not busy with her growing family, Dr. Nicci can be found hiking, surfing, and practicing multiple forms of martial arts, that is when she’s not swing or salsa dancing!
