Dr. Jill Muraoka Lim
Dr. Jill Muraoka Lim (aka Dr. Jill) is a founding partner of Ohana Pet Hospital.
Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Dr. Jill completed her veterinary studies at the University of California in Davis in 2002. Dr. Jill continued her training in Ventura by completing a one year, small animal rotating-internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG). From there, Dr. Jill worked in small animal general practices in both Orange County and Ventura before joining Dr. Jan, Dr. Kate and Dr. Nicci in forming Ohana Pet Hospital in December 2012.
Dr. Jill is an active community volunteer with Caregivers assisting the elderly, while also volunteering with both Homestretch Greyhound Rescue and Canine Adoption and Rescue League (CARL). With her interest and background in business, Dr. Jill is also responsible for launching the Santa Barbara-Ventura Veterinary Medical Association’s Professional Development lecture series for local member veterinarians and works closely with her Ohana partners in leading the effort to make Ventura County a 100% No-Kill community.
When Dr. Jill and her husband, Jeff are not keeping their sassy cat Copernicus entertained, Dr. Jill can be found kick-boxing, fitness-training, running, reading, cooking and baking the Ohana staff all sorts of delectable goodies.
