Dr. Donnalee Dorman
In March 2014, Ohana Pet Hospital expanded its professional family to include Dr. Donnalee Dorman (aka Dr. Donnalee) who joined the hospital as a practicing veterinarian and business partner.
Born and raised in Fillmore, Dr. Donnalee earned a degree in Biology from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Donnalee worked in a biochemical production lab before pursuing veterinary medicine and the University of California in Davis, graduating in 1998. Dr. Donnalee is a well known local veterinarian having practiced for many years in Ventura and Thousand Oaks prior to joining Ohana Pet Hospital.
In 2006, Dr. Donnalee participated in a life-changing veterinary mission trip to Mongolia working with both the people and animals of the area.
At home, Dr. Donnalee is the proud parent of five rescued cats, Clara, Harrison, Elliot, Willow, and Conejo and two dogs, Leilani and Eli, all of which found their way into Dr. Donnalee’s welcoming home. In her spare time, you can find Dr. Donnalee with her family and friends, teaching Sunday school at Reality Ventura, traveling, hiking and enjoying the local beaches.
